Portraits for the release of the documentary on Ginette Kolinka, survivor of the death camps - who testifies in French secondary schools.
Ginette Kolinka, born in Paris on February 4, 1925, is a survivor of the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp, and a purveyor of the memory of the Holocaust.
For 2 years, filmmakers Antoine Lifaut and Caroline Protat followed Ginette in her fight against hatred, through the colleges of France. They made this documentary film, “Ginette”, which will be shown at the Shoah Memorial in Paris, in the presence of Ginette and numerous guests, on January 29, 2023. “We met two years ago, and she immediately agreed to follow us on this crazy adventure. We've been together ever since. And Ginette, at 98 years of age, never stops. It's all too urgent to tell people what she experienced in Birkenau, to warn them: it was hatred that led to the Shoah, and we have to do everything we can to make sure it never happens again”...
